I came in hungry and ended up paying for what was honestly the worst food I’ve had in my life and it felt like no care was put into the meal at all. For that price, I expected something at least decent. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of other spots where you can spend far less and get food that’s actually edible. Very disappointing experience.
On the plus side, the man who served me was nice and friendly. However, serving food during a pandemic you would expect gloves, a hat, and a mask a some point.
The poor rating is based on the food quality. I remember when younger I would order chips and the flavours of freshly made chips with salt and vinegar would explode in my mouth. So with this memory and a desperate hunger, I looked expectantly at the chips I ordered. Unfortunately, the chips tatsed like they'd been reheated more than once and prepared in an oil that was well past its changing date. Not trying to be cruel but I had about one quarter of the pack and left the rest, despite my hunger. Disappointed as the chipper looks lovely and well kept , and with a tweak it could be much better. Maybe i caught them on a bad day.
The staff are very pleasant and friendly but the food is an absolute joke the bare minimum chips with the burger meal , and chips were tasteless and needed to be cooked longer , the burger was like the big version frozen chicken nugget in Aldi and the curry sauce is like water , if this place was cheap i would have let it go with the review but it’s one of the most expensive chippers ! The ones back in the city are cheaper couldn’t get over taco chips nearly a tenner but anyways food is horrible
me and my daughter ordered some food last night. The chips tasted like they were cooked on 4 week old oil, they reeked. My daughter ate a hamburger and a chicken thigh. this morning , she felt awful. lets just say the toilet did not have a great time.
Really bad experience, the food was of very low quality and very bad hospitality by the employees
